Hi, my name is Thijs Lander. I'm a creative developer, located in Delft, The Netherlands. I'm focused on building well-organized, accessible and exciting digital experiences, whether websites or games.

I first started programming around the age of 10, when a friend gave me a disc with an early version of GameMaker on it. I remember spending many afternoons making small games on our home computer, and that's where I first discovered my love for creating interactive things.

It wasn't until 2018, when I started my "Creative Media & Game Technologies" degree at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, that I explored web development. Previously I considered school to be a bore, but I have fond memories of experimenting with apps, websites, and games throughout my studies.

Nowadays, I focus professionally on building web applications. My goal is to create streamlined, performant digital products with clean, legible code, something I believe is very important in the age of AI slop. In my spare time, I work on game development, bringing my dreams to life on screen.
